Kate Schermerhorn
Kate Schermerhorn grew up in Stone Mountain. Kate graduated from Georgia Southern University with a BBA in Management Information Systems. After spending 6 years in the IT industry up in the Washington DC area, a career change was in order and moved into sales and marketing. In 2002, Kate finally started her own manufacturer’s representative firm, where she represented as many as 10 different wholesale companies to retailers across the Southeast. In 2011 Kate went to work for Eagle Carpet Care & Restoration as the Business Development Manager.
Kate has been married to her husband Greg for 13 years. They reside in Flowery Branch. Kate is activity involved in ministry at Zion Hill Baptist Church, where her husband is an ordained pastor. In addition to church activities Kate loves to SCUBA dive, play tennis, run the occasional 5K.
